1. The service

Moving Pictures is a marketplace that connects video content creators ("Creators") with freelance video editors ("Editors"). We provide matching, communication, file exchange, review tooling and payment handling, and take a margin for operating the trusted layer between the two sides.

2. Payments and escrow

Creators pay Moving Pictures up front. Funds are held in escrow and released to the Editor once a delivery is approved, minus our platform fee. Payouts to Editors may be processed through third-party providers.

3. Intellectual property

Unless agreed otherwise in a project, all rights in a delivered cut transfer to the Creator on full payment. Editors retain the right to be credited where the parties agree.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to circumvent the platform to avoid fees, to upload unlawful content, or to misuse the dispute process.

5. Disputes

Where a Creator and Editor disagree on a delivery, our dispute process determines the release or refund of escrowed funds.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect.
